The Role: We are seeking a head of Program Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects and programs within the technology organization at WorldQuant. The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in technical program management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the technology sector.

  • Own and evolve an overall program management strategy in alignment with WorldQuant’s goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement standardized program management processes, tools, and best practices
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the PMO, ensuring effective prioritization and resource allocation
  • Act as the primary point of contact for program-related matters, ensuring clear communication and alignment with stakeholders
  • Manage a globally distributed high-performing team of project managers
  • Personally manage the planning and execution of select high visible programs and projects across various departments
What You’ll Bring:
  • 10+ years in a head of program management role for a technology organization
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex programs from inception to completion
  • Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at all levels
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Technical degree or Background in software engineering and finance is preferred but not required

 

WorldQuant is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and benefits. The estimated salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000 which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer we will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
